I can recommend this lovely guest house, its in a pretty spot overlooking the cable cars and with a 5 minute walk into the main street with its cafes, restaurants and pubs. Its reasonably priced (ask about any special deals) clean and comfortable with a nice homecooked breakfast and friendly (without being intrusive) owners. Matlock Bath is well worth a... more

Whilst touring in Derbyshire passed Abraham House B & B and decided to stop for a night. Nice friendly place with a delightful clean and comfortable room and good value for money. Ended up staying three nights and plan to go back later in the year. more

I won a weekend on ebay so at least it was cheap. There was problems with the booking but I went with an open mind and thought that I wasn't going to let those difficulties spoil the weekend. Firstly we would like to address the negative points stated in this review. The problems with bookings that they describe were as follows; The weekend that they won was not advertised for a bank holiday and the days they wanted would have run into the bank holiday monday that we had already received bookings for. A welcoming little guest house ,close to amenties ,with lovely views of the river,and sights of the heights of abrahams cable cars going above the guest house.
