What a fabulous place. We were there for a work stop off and wished we had more time to stay another night! A gorgeous room, engaging and helpful hosts and the breakfast...best B&B breakfast we have had - and we have had some pretty good ones! Lots of nice touches and attention to detail. This place is spotless and well... More

We have stayed at many B & B's in the UK over the years and Cedar House rates as the one of the best, if not the very best , we have ever visited. From the moment Alison opened the door upon hearing the car arrive, to the moment we left two days later, both her and Joe were the... More

I stayed at Cedar House for two nights whilst visiting relatives in the area and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay in the area. The people that run it are very nice, friendly people. The room was very good with all the facilities that you would get in any hotel room (actually more than in... More

Have just spent two nights at Cedar House. Beautiful house with wonderful rooms. What a lovely warm welcome from Joe & Alison, coffee and biscuits brought to our room on arrival :) The house is absolutely spotless clean. Full English breakfast both mornings, delicious. Would not hesitate to recommend in fact if ever visiting Rochester again we wouldn't stay anywhere... More

We have just stayed for a few days at Cedar house that we found via tripadvisor. Due to the rave reviews we gave it a chance. Wow~ how spot on those comments were. We have had a magnificent stay, better than many a 5* hotel. We were royally looked after by Alison & Joe, and nothing was to much trouble... More

I stayed at Cedar House for two nights with my husband, while we explored Rochester as a potential place to move to. The actual B&B is lovely, on a beautiful quiet street, with many extra touches that you just dont get when staying in big chains like travelodges etc. The room we had (putting green) was plenty big enough for... We had an excellent stay in the Cedar House and was most impressed. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very comfortable with full tea and coffee making facilities together with biscuits and chocolates. The breakfast was first class. We would thoroughly recommend this B&B.

Me and a friend stayed here whilst working and I can honestly say it is the best B&B I have ever stayed in. Rooms were lovely and immaculate, fantastic English breakfast in the morning and the people are great. Highly recommended

This is perhaps the best B & B we have stayed in. Lovely hosts, great breakfast, large room spotlessly clean, tea, coffee and biscuits to up the sugar levels after a hard day's sight-seeing. I think what I liked best is that there are no corners cut. Would return tomorrow. We had room with two single beds looking out over... More
