This was a wonderful location, the lodges were just right for 2, the previous comments about about musty smell did not materialize for us. air fresheneners were in use as well as a dehumidifier which we found we needed to keep on almost constantly. however that was because we visited during the wettest August on Scottish record! I have just come home from a lovely week with my fiance at Burnbank Lodge in Spean Bridge. The lodge was perfect for our needs with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Paul and Ria (the owners) were always friendly and helpful and provided excellent recommendations for places to visit and eat out. We also had a wonderful meal at... more

Great location for exploring the Scottish Highlands and close to Fort William to stock up on food and drink supplies. The owners, Phil and Ria were very helpful and cheery and bread seeking ducks made you feel right... more

Also only 40mins from Glencoe. Endless walks and beautiful scenary to be found around every corner. The lodge was a wonderful place to return... more

This lodge is for couples only and that suited my wife and I and we just relaxed and enjoyed the accommodation setting and the area around. We found the hosts Ria and Philip very helpful,... more

Great location, near to most attractions. Good view of the river and rapids out of the patio windows, beautifully quiet. The only problem is the smell in the lodge, I think it was damp and although I opened 2 windows it would still smell, I had to wash clean clothes when I got home because everything smelt musty. The only... more
