The hotel is large, clean and has no idea how to make money. The room was fine but needed decorated and new bathroom. The beer garden was fine but miles from the bar. The bar was overpriced with poor service and drinks selection. The hotel has a fish & chip shop selling fresh fish but using bulk buy frozen chips???... More

Overall the place was quite nice, close to where we wanted to visit. Food was pretty good too if you are looking for pub grub. The rooms were clean, with fresh bed linen and clean pillows. The shower and bathroom were good, however needed to get rid of the mould on the ceiling, furthermore, I have to also say, that... More

Stayed 2 nights here as we were attending a wedding. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was a bother. Breakfast was nice, room clean. Would stay there again. Great value for the money. A great place to stop at and plenty places to visit round about. Can' t understand why it has some bad reviews.

This is a rabbit warren of a sprawling place, which doesn't know whether to be a fish and chip shop, a restaurant, a pub, or a museum; and doesn't really succeed in any. The accommodation was good, spacious room and bathroom, well equipped. I was travelling solo but got a double room, number 26, which is in the main building,... More

Had a really great stay here, The staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms were spacious with lovely cosy warm beds. We didn't have dinner in the restaurant but did try the Fish & Chip shop which was very tasty and very big portions. Overall our stay was good value and even though breakfast isn't included it is... Lovely hotel with all you need under one roof. The room had an en suite shower, tv and tea/coffee machine. Meals over the two nights consisted of chicken curry which was a generous portion and fish and chips. The hotel has a fish and chip shop attached which not only made for the authentic experience but an almost unfinishable. The... More

This a family run hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff , this is NOT a run of the mill holiday/ premiere inn so dont be expecting that however it does have charm and character and a warm homely feeling . The food on offer was lovely especially the chicken curry and fish 'n' chips and breakfast offered cooked breakfast... More

I also don’t understand the bad reviews. If you want a characterless hotel then Spean Bridge Hotel is not for you. This hotel is situated at the foot of Benn Nevis and I have to say we had a fantastic stay at this family run hotel. It was especially nice to be greeted by the receptionist Tina. Our room was... I don’t understand the bad reviews!? I thought the hotel was just perfect! It had a lovely restaurant with a great variety on offer, the chip shop was lovely - the fish was the best I have had in a long time! The food portions were more than enough and I’m a big eater! The breakfast was great and with... More
