We stayed at The Speanbridge Hotel for along weekend ( 2 adults 2 children 6 & 10yrs). Has a lovely log cabin which I have to say was perfect. Clean, lots of space and great for putting the children to bed and not just being stuck in a hotel room for the rest of the night. Very friendly staff who... more

The hotel looks very dirty and run down from outside. Had we not already booked I would not have stopped to ask if they had any rooms available. The commando... more

It is ideally situated on the main A82 between Inverness and Glasgow and within easy reach of the Isle of Skye. I always find the staff very helpful whether i am late arriving or having... more

Recently visited as part of the Great Glen Way Walk with a group of colleagues. We found the hotel bedrooms to be mismatched and very old and tired. Room 22 had curtains that were stained with damp and a roof leak and the top corners of the ceiling were black with damp and mould. The shower room was clean and... more

Management response from
David Short, Co-owner

You are right, there has been a leak although there is no mould, a bit of discolouration. The stained curtains were an oversight and are being replaced. Thank you for pointing this out. The floor covering in the bathroom is actually Flotex, a softer safety lino. It gives the feeling of carpet perhaps although it is not. We have found...
