We stayed one night while walking the Great Glen Way (pre-booked by Absolute Escapes) and were quite pleased with the experience. The B&B is a fair walk (about 0.5 miles) from the trail but all in all worth the extra distance. The hosts had made dinner reservations for us at the Great Glen Water Park (the only place to eat... Doing the great glen way and stayed here for one night. Was ok but certainly not the best we stayed at. Not really suitable for the GGW as you have quite a considerable walk along the busy main road Ideal if you are travelling there by car and touring. No evening meals in the guest house, though the very large... More

Robert was a delight. He greeted us with jokes and made us feel at home. The owners also drive you to the nearest restaurant when you are ready to eat. The owners of the restaurant then drive you back after your meal. Such service!! The breakfast was excellent at the B & B. Also, the hosts dried our soggy hiking... More

Stayed for 1 night, there is only one other hostel as competition in this area. £40 for a single is too expensive for this accommodation, It is looking a bit tired and could do with a few basic improvements like a TV and clock radio / alarm in the room. (and leaving the heating on for a bit longer please... More

We stayed one night here in June 2012. It was fully booked when we were there. The rooms are a bit tired and dated. The people are generous, accommodating and helpful. Free tea and coffee was available on arrival - help yourself. Maps, bus timetables and leaflets were plentiful. Lifts offered to both local providers of evening meals, and table... More

Friendly hosts and a thankful lift to the nearby Great Glen Restaurant avoiding a walk along the scary A82. Room was a little lacking in space but comfortable enough and breakfast was excellent.

Stopped here for 2 nights whilst cycling in the area. Robert and Phoebe are friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast was excellent; local produce and fresh coffee at the plenty always win me over. Clearly recently refurbished since previous reviews, as the place has a fresh and bright welcoming feel. When combined with the awesome views this was the perfect... More

This was fine for a night, warm welcome, excellent breakfast, good company, but ensuite was tiny and place needs a bit of sprucing up. It looks tired and could be so much better with a little effort.

Stopped for a night on our walk up the Great Glen Way. This is not a fancy joint, and feels like a youth hostel more than a B&B. We asked for a room with our own bathroom, which was down the hall but for which we were given a key. It is right on the road, but it was very... More

A pleasant enough welcome, a clean room and excellent hot shower, but there was a sense of cost-cutting about this B&B. It would have benefitted from better quality tea and coffee in the room and ingredients for breakfast, and better quality bedding including extra quilts that actually covered the bed. The location would be convenient for walkers undertaking the Great... More
