We stayed at Distant Hills after our first day walking the Great Glen Way. Of the 9 B&B's we stayed at on our trip this is one of my absolute favourites. Peter came out to Gairlochy to pick us up and skip the extra 3 mile walk from the end of the official leg of the walk out to Spean... more

We stayed at Distant Hills for 2 nights, Leslie and Peter were very welcoming and friendly. Bedroom was quiet, garden-looking, well equipped but really small (for our 2 suitcases),But - the breakfast - excellent! It was the best we had out of 7 other lodgings, the taste of smoked salmon in scrambled eggs and the greek yoghurt with fresh fruits... more

Just stayed 1 night before taking part in the Caley hallenge. Very impressed with the B&B , and the friendliness of the hosts, and that was before the breakfasts, which nearly scuppered our run, as they were were tremendous and resulted in us eating way too much. will definately return. more
