We had looked at going to Dublin, Edinburgh, Amsterdam or even Brugge for my Birthday but we are fond of Skye and the surrounding area and we are really glad that we found Neil at Clach Ghlas. As it was my 40th we decided to spend a little more than usual on a special place and my main requirement was I wanted a spa bath. As the B&B only has the two rooms it was intimite and romantic. You have the use of the livingroom for the two rooms so there would only be four people there at any given time. We were lucky on the 11th as the Italian lady and her daughter arrived late and had gone to the 3 chimneys for their supper so we had the place to ourselves. After a spa bath with the arran aromatic bath essence, a fantastic meal at the Old Schoolhouse, a walk by Neist lighthouse where we saw a basking shark and a minke whale, we headed to the luxury livingroom, listened to classical music and drank our champage.
Breakfast in the morning has to be sampled to be believed, pure heaven... more
