Not quite knowing what to expect in this rural retreat we were pleasantly surprised. The quality of the food and general hospitality made it a well worthwhile visit even if the weather was decidedly damp

Just come back from a long weekend (30/11/12-02/12/12) at this wonderful guest house. we have stayed here many times over the years and think of June and Glyn as friends. They are so warm and friendly and always glad to see us. Breakfast is always a treat, really sets you up for the day. The Location is fantastic with brilliant... More

Wow- great location, beautiful gardens, Fantastic and attentive hosts with an incredible attention to detail. Its the best yet. I only wish I could have stayed longer. The host's local knowledge was amazing too I could have chatted for hours. Breakfast was wonderful and included a Welsh specialty laverbread which was a yummy addition. We felt so welcome even we arrived just before midnight with our last minute booking. The owners have been ever so helpful from the start, friendly and nice. We were spoiled with choices for breakfast, very fresh and tasty food. Lovely country side with a few good country pubs in the area. Easy access to Cardiff by car to catch... More

After our first visit to the B&B several years ago we have returned several times and stayed i n both the cottage and the B&B. Each time having a lovely stay. The facilities are always top class and spotlessly clean. June and Glyn are wonderful hosts and look after our every need, nothing is too much trouble. They are always... More

Peaceful country location within easy access of Cowbridge, and half hour drive to Cardiff. Clean, but decor was dated.Comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities in room. Adequate shower, but no toiletries provided. Nice lounge area with rural views. At £75.00 a night breakfast was just average. We thought it was overpriced for what it was.

As our guest house is small and the reviewer gave their location as Swansea I am able to easily identify them. I find their rather negative review surprising as when they departed they commented on how much they enjoyed their stay, would stay again if in the area and would recommend. As they say in Yorkshire 'there's nowt so queer... More

What an amazing place, we spent two nights here and fully enjoyed ourselves. The attention to detail was second to none from the wonderful breakfasts to the comfy bed, from the peaceful countryside to the ever helpful June and Glyn. The heritage coast is a must see in our eyes and we are only sorry we did not have longer... More

What a brilliant B&B! Gwn and June are the perfect hosts, full of useful tips, short-cuts and local information - very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was 5* Rooms were light and airy, spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. We had no problems finding the B&B and the views and setting are beautiful. We hope to return : )
