This "bed and breakfast" hotel is situate in lovely countryside, but it is in easy distance of Cardiff and the coast. There are only 3 rooms on a B+B basis plus some self catering accommodation, all within a wonderful building with plenty of charm. My husband and I escaped to Wales for a brief break, and booked Crossways Manor for 2 nights. At £70/night the B&B is on par with some of the full-service hotels in the area. With that in mind, and the descriptions of the B&B’s website, we had half-expected to experience something more of a “country-house party” complete with drinking sherry... more
