We stayed in The Park Hotel after a day walking in the Brecon Beacons. The rooms were cozy, clean and warm. We had dinner in the newly refurbished dining room.... delicious! The owners were friendly, accommodating and extremely hard working. We are already planning a return visit. more

Stayed one night, on a recent weekend. Booked via laterooms, and got a decent enough room for 40 pounds. Warm welcome from the proprietor. Room was spacious enough, and bathroom even more so. I don't quite understand why anyone would carpet a bathroom, the furnishings were not to my taste at all, and the wardrobe failed the wooden coat hanger... more

Arrived at five past three in the afternoon. No rooms ready, hoovers everywhere, piles of laundry on the stairs. Wandered around looking for someone and eventually found the lady proprietor who promptly told us she was not ready as she hadn't finished scrubbing and cleaning. When we asked if our room was ready we were told to wait for 20... more

I called The Park Hotel and spoke to a lady. She was very helpful and professional and provided us a discount because we were walkers.... more

We stayed overnight at the hotel and when we arrived the room had obviously not been 'hoovered'. There was no hot water the following morning for a shower- when we complained to the owner, she was not particularly interested- maybe a reduction from the bill would have been appropriate. Breakfast was good, but the service very poor, and slow. more

I have stayed at this hotel for 3 years running now and slowly the hotel has been upgraded and improved until it is now very comfortable and well appointed. The owners and staff have always been very friendly . The breakfast was very good and at £35/night I can't really fault this hotel; there's a nice restaurant which I didin't... more

We stayed at the Park Hotel in Pandy in May 2008. We needed a room for the night so we could visit relatives who were staying at the fabulous Jinks Cottage not far away in Llangattock Lingoed. The hotel we chosen for it's proximity - just three miles distant. On arrival we were greeted very warmly asked if we would... more
