A pretty family run hotel with a lovely natural swimming pool, relaxing garden and warm welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and management of this comfortable Austrian hotel. Close to the airport if you are flying, we drove to Salzburg and took the bus into the centre - which is easy and efficient.
Our bedroom was gorgeous, big balcony and ceiling mirrors (good for a romantic break, some rooms have water beds and jacuzzis, but families would be equally happy here).
The breakfast was fabulous, and there is a super traditional Austrian restaurant next door. Good wine to purchase for your room or the garden. We also splashed out on dinner at the acclaimed and wonderful Hangar7 restaurant, which houses art exhibitions as well as planes and cars in a fabulour modern hangar.
We loved this place, so refreshing after bland modern chain hotels, would definitely stay there again. more
