Just back from Sozopol.Hotel Selene situatated 50 metres from sea.Breakfirst terrace faces the old beach with it's seaview. Food very good , but don't expect bacon, frankfurters are a poor substitute. Choice of hot eggs various types, fruit, cereal,cold meats and as much coffee as you want. Having read the previous reviews we were not disappointed. This should definitely be more than a 3* hotel. The 4* Villa List is situated directly next door and looks quite downtrodden at the side of the Selena. The staff spoke good English and the room was cleaned daily. It's worth paying that bit extra for a sea view room though... more

My second visit to the lovely Hotel Selena I'm now waiting for the 2010 brochure to B delivered....definitely going again. It gives/gave me almost (!) everything I wanted. Totally agree with Tina, this is a fabulous hotel and is more like a 4 star. Would definately stay here again. I have also stayed at the Hotel Villa List next door, but found the Selena far superior and friendly. There is also a Selena Beach in the area, so dont mistake it with that one, although I have not... more
