Clean rooms, great showers! The breakfasts were amazing, massive and of excellent quality. The restuarant in the hotel is pricey, however. The staff were excellent, and nothing was too much trouble. the bar is basic but friendly, and we had a great few evenings watching the Euro Football championships with other families of all nations. Overall an excellent hotel, and... more

Just returned from 2 weeks in the Selena. I can't wait to return next year. All the staff work extremely hard to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The restaurant serves delicious food at very reasonable prices. I recommend the cherry pie. The lobby bar is a very friendly place to meet up and have a drink... more

Just back from Sozopol.Hotel Selene situatated 50 metres from sea.Breakfirst terrace faces the old beach with it's seaview. Food very good , but don't expect bacon, frankfurters are a poor substitute. Choice of hot eggs various types, fruit, cereal, cold meats and as much coffee as you want. Evening meals are good and reasonable prices. The room was cleaned evey day... more

Arrived here in the scortching heat, and where pleased to find we had a seaview room with air conditioning (boy did we need it} The room appeared to be very new everything was spotless and in good order. Breakfast was very good (unusual for bulgaria). We never used the resturant at night as we like to wander around but it... more

Having read the previous reviews we were not disappointed. This should definitely be more than a 3* hotel. The 4* Villa List is situated directly next door and looks quite downtrodden at the side of the Selena. The staff spoke good English and the room was cleaned daily. It's worth paying that bit extra for a sea view room though... more

Totally agree with Tina, this is a fabulous hotel and is more like a 4 star. Would definately stay here again. I have also stayed at the Hotel Villa List next door, but found the Selena far superior and friendly. There is also a Selena Beach in the area, so dont mistake it with that one, although I have not... more

We have just returned from a week at the Hotel Selena in Sozopol. We had a fantastic time. The hotel was really fabulous, better than I expected for a 3* hotel, and in a central location. We had a sofa, and a coffee table in our room, and the bathroom was superb. The balcony was large with a table and... more

Just returned from the Hotel Selena in Sozopol. I can not praise this hotel enough. The hotel is rated 3 star but, in my opinion, should definitely be a 4 star. The hotel opened last year and is situated in the new town, directly on Central Beach, overlooking the old part of town. The location could not be better. On... more
