We drove into Nevio Camping on the basis that it has 4 stars in the Croatia Camping lists. Those stars are well deserved, it is a great campsite. The only pitch left when we arrived was by the beach which would have been our choice anyway, waking up to the sound of the Adriatic in the morning was great. Staff were extremely friendly, it is run by a very dedicated family and named after their 12 yr old son Nevio, even their 5 yr old daughter can be found handing people their drinks in the restaurant! Spectacular views from all pitches. Bathrooms were bizarrely laid out and slightly dark but clean and well maintained. It is very steep as with a lot of campsites and a mallet is essential to get those tent pegs in as the ground is very rocky. We also had the best tuna steak of our entire holiday in the restaurant, they fished it out of the sea the day before and it would be worth the trip back to Croatia just for that! Highly recommend. more
