The hotel is split into two. One side has the restaurants and a couple of rooms. the Other side just has the rooms. Both have the ye'olde bricke building look which looks great from the outside. Have to agree with previous reviewer. The restaurant is an overpriced and pretentious canteen. All the effort went into the presentation and the gastronomic experience was one big disappointment. But the rooms are fine, the bed was comfortable and the staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. The hotel charges for garage parking. It is possible to park on the road... more

I did not appreciate the letting of the room being dependant on the reservation of dinner, wich I consider a trap. A pleasant and quiet stopover hotel, but the bed was sooooooooo uncomfortable....my advice is for the staff to pop into Ikea and buy some mattress toppers. We'll come back only if they do - we didn't sleep a wink. more

Needed a stopover en route to the UK from the Alps and narrowly avoided the nearby Le Jeanne D'Arc III having wisely asked to see the room beforehand (awful).
