Spent a week here, really challenging walking but worth the effort for the fantastic views, food and company. The accommodation is very comfortable, Rob and Emma very friendly and knowledgeable on the local area, fauna and flora, geology, history and even mushrooms! They were delicious and we had fun searching for them. We ate a lot of delicious food but did... more

A group of us did day walks and a 3-day trek to the Cirque de Gavarnie and Ordesa canyon which are highly recommended. Everything was excellent the walks the guiding the accommodation and the food - the complete package. Nothing was too much trouble for Emma & Rob. In fact it was so good we are going back. more

We statyed with Mountain Bug in July 2009 for a week - fab, fab, fab. The accomodation is excellent and you really feel at home. The food is brilliant - breakfast is continental but more than adequate with lots of fruit, baguette and crossiants. Packed lunches are yum. Every afternoon you get tea and cake if your home on time... more

Hard to imagine a skiing trip for two families with four children could be relaxing but it was. Our hosts Emma and Rob cook the most delicious food, better than you could get in many restaurants. They had so much local knowledge so could advise us on skiing lessons and pistes to try with our kids. They made us feel... more

The chalet is lovely, very well kept, clean and comfortable, and just a short walk from the bus to the ski lifts and from the... more

If your family has an adventurous streak, you won't be disappointed by a stay with Mountainbug. We (40something parents, 12 and 14 year old children) had a fantastic week in Bareges. We did the family adventure week which involved climbing, canyoning, walking, rafting, paragliding, mountain biking and caving. Rob (we didn't meet Emma as she was away guiding a hike... more
