Depending on where you're traveling to in South France this is an OK choice just north of San Tropez. The beach near the hotel wasn't that great. Lots of families and older folks, but it's a short drive south to lots of nice smaller beaches and San Tropez is 20 minutes away. The hotel can use an interior face-lift. One... More

We stayed at this hotel for a week and used it as a base for further travel around the cote d azur during the peak season in August. The hotel is pleasant and clean and the staff are polite. There is only one lift which can take a long time to arrive so its best to use the stairs. The... More

We stayed one night prior to a weeks stay in a villa, all of the staff were very pleasant and helpful, the hotel rooms were very nice and the food was excellent, I would certainly stay there again, the location is spot on as you litterally cross the road to get on the beach, which is very safe for children.... Mostly positives. Courteous, although slightly overworked, staff (too much to do all at the same time). Room and bathroom were clean, well-maintained, and of reasonable size. Our pre-arrival e-mail request to have something delivered to our room was responded to immediately and handled perfectly. Free parking was great but spaces became scarce. Two minor dings. The entry hall and area... More

Spent 2 nights here, but had not realised on booking it was owned by Van der Valk,a Dutch company. Luckily I've stayed at several of their hotels in Holland, and find them of a good quality. The St Aygulf is no exception. It is clearly well run and managed, with Dutch standards, rather than French ones to the fore. The rooms offer excellent... More

I put this hotel as Average, although it is very close to Very Good, i would have selected 'good' if i had the choice at tripadvisor. Rooms; clean; cool (with AC); nice beds (although our bed was VERY noisy, somehow it was not leveled correctly) which was a bit annoying. For dutch going to stay in the hotel they will... More

My husband and I stayed here in May '07. We travel independently and came upon this hotel by chance and so had no reservation. We were delighted to be offered a sea view room with balcony. While the room was not very large, it was quite adequate for our needs and very clean and fresh. There was a lovely large dining... More

I stayed 4 nights in October at this hotel and it is very nice considering what 3 stars accomodation means in France. The hotel is clean, big rooms, we had balcony and seeview with 95 euros per room (price in off-season). Breakfast was also included and it was excellent with all types of ham, eggs and a very good fruit... More

Very well located at nice beach with cafes & sun-bed hire(direct access under bridge without crossing road), lovely views of sea and a short 10 minute drive to Frejus. Free car parking & internet access. Nice welcome at reception on arrival (even though hours before official check-in time!). We had booked late & couldn't get a room with balcony. Reception... More
