The hotel is a Marmara Club. It's a very good place to be to enjoy the Crete. The hotel is very well situated on the island and so it's easy to go everywhere for a great day trip. The environment of the hotel itself is very beautifull and the 3 swimming pool and the beach offer you great views!! The... more

i went to this hotel last year and immediately loved the location of the hotel, situated down a mountain with fantastic sea and mountain views from all rooms. The staff were really friendly especially the owner of the hotel, however, there was a bus driver who took us to our room and did a trip to the beach every half... more

My boyfriend and I have recently returned from a one week stay at the Athina Palace. I have to say, having readthe reviews prior to our holiday we were really worried but we had an absolutely fab time and fail to see what people are moaning about...especially for the price? We established that on average most people had paid about... more

Having travelled around the globe the information and facilities provided seemed to fit our needs. However, all inclusive is all inclusive but maybe not.On arrival at the reception a uniformed notice appeared in front of us, a BBQ evening with local greek dancing with a price of eight euros, this seemed strange as we were all inclusive. The bedroom was clean... more

Just back from spending a week here and are we glad !!!! Read a lot of negative things about this place amongst some positive things before we went and decided not to read too much into them, thought we would go with an open mind. However, we wish we had accepted that there were more negatives than positives and that... more

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at the Athina Palace and had a wonderfult time. The girls at the front desk were very helpful. We were given a suite although we had only paid for a bungalow. The room was AWESOME..the view was UNBELIEVABLE! I'm not sure if people that complain about everything understand that they are visiting Greece,... more

The hotel was very nice, the room we had was cleaned each day and towels, bedding changed daily also. The many steps became a problem (anyone been up the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey? do that 4 or 5 times a day and it seems like ascending Everest). The pools were VG and the vista's great. However, when you book... more
