We just returned from the Eltheon Hotel. It is a very nice, clean and convenient hotel. At a minimum, I recommend that you stay in a double apartment. It is worth the extra cost. Chose to save a couple of bucks and not stay directly on the caldera. Wise choice. Caldera is easily walkable and can still enjoy the view albeit not from your room or balcony.
