The Monte da Avó Chica is a traditional family run property in the middle of Alentejo region, right at the Monsaraz mountain foot. We stayed there for a night, me and my wife and a friend couple with a 3 years old child, and we just loved it. The family that runs the property are simply amazing, very friendly and kind. The house is huge, a tipical kind of Alentejo house with several rooms (doubles, triples and some independent rooms outside the major house), an inside car park, a playground and some traditional details. Waking up with birds singing surronded by absolutly silence and having that amazing traditional breakfast is something that I have to recommend.
Our room was spacious enough, clean, traditional and modern mixed details, confortable and cozy. Bathroom was large and confortable, clean and traditional too, with excelent shower pressure.
