My husband and I have just returned from the Puerto Mar apartments in Puerto Rico. We stayed there from the 2nd to the 9th of September. The apartments were very clean, the maid came in every day, the pool area was well maintained, so you would think what a bargain for £209. I'm afraid it ended up costing us a lot more. Our apartment got broken into while we were sleeping,our holiday money stolen, thankfully it was at the end of our holiday, so they did'nt get away with much. But the frightening thing here is that these people have keys to these apartments. Not just door keys , but safety deposit keys as well. When we reported the theft to the rep all they kept saying "Its not possible". Beleive me it was very possible. My husband and I are in our 50's, not a bunch af teenagers out on the razz, who come home and forgot to lock the door.
