Stayed for 2 weeks at the hotel that I only can recommend for the wiev. First room we got where untidy, dirty water on the floor and a kitchen with no chance to cook. No pots or pans... My wife and I stayed here in late November 2006. Initially my wife wasn't too keen. As the one bedroom apartment we were allocated was pretty small, with a basic kitchen, which consisted of 2 electric rings. Having said that though, the apartment was clean and safe from what I saw. Balcon De Amadores is a very nice quiet hotel. Rooms are very clean and staff are friendly. One problem though, you are stuck at the very top of the mountain.... this hotel had excellent views was extremely cheap and if you are looking for some where to sleep shower and dress this is the hotel for you the amenities wer not brilliant but taxis to puerto rico and amadores are cheap approx. 3 euros we spent very little time in the hotel and when we were there we were hammered... more
