We keep raving to friends how good Eastfield Lodge was - could be a bit of a problem if other people book it up when we want to go. People make places, and Paula and Mike were the best hosts possible. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the public rooms (guests lounge, dining room) were welcoming. Being owned... more

Mike and Paula were friendly and hospitable during our stay and accomodated our 5 year old really very kindly! Everyone's fear is lack of cleanliness in a B&B i think, and at Eastfield Lodge there was no cause for concern whatsever, the bedroom and bathroom were immaculate and the attention to detail in provisions (wine glasses in our case!) was... more

Stayed at Eastfield with friends for a weekend. Mike and Paula are so welcoming, amazing hosts. The bedrooms at Eastfield lodge are spacious and comfortable and above all spotlessly clean. We would and will definately reccomend this lovely guesthouse and location to everyone. more

Best B&B I've experienced: amazingly friendly, with faultless room, breakfast and general service. Good base for hill walking. Several good places to eat within walking distance (we went to the Sandpiper Inn and Saffron restaurant). We also ate at the Heifer in West Witton which was excellent. Also enjoyed New Orleans Jazz at the Bolton inn in the Market square... more

My friend and I enjoyed a 3 night break in Leyburn and all the reports of how welcome you are made are true. Lots of helpful ideas of where to visit, combined with the proximity to scenic walks of all grades, nearby towns such as Richmond to discover, comfy rooms, great breakfasts and easy access to Leyburn itself, ensured that... more

This is one of the loveliest places we've stayed in the UK. Our spacious room had a fantastic view of the countryside and mixed older charm with contemporary design in the en-suite - a perfect mix. The hosts were generous with their time when quizzed about local walks and attractions and also cooked a very good breakfast - we felt... more

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. The view from the room was lovely and it was within a stone's throw from the church of the wedding we were attending. The market square was a minutes walk away and is excellent. Mike and Paula the owners were very attentive and the service was excellent. Thanks for a lovely weekend Darren &... more

A recent 4 night stay proved a real bargain and treat. Paula and Mike were really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They were interested in our group without being nosy! The guesthouse was lovely, clean, well decorated and a couple of minutes walk from town. They are happy to take people to other nearby villages for a meal... more
