We had 4 nights at Bridge End Guest House and cannot fault it. We stayed on the top floor in a twin room, as this room is usually booked with the double just down the hall there was no ensuite, but this was no matter. We had use of the ensuite to the double and this caused no problem. The... More

Exceptionally clean guest-house, good mattress and good location. Carlos was able to advise us on where to find good pub grub (we tried Three Horseshoes which was a good cheap and cheerful £6 burger pub grub place with complimentary mince pies). What really impressed, apart from Carlos' excellent service throughout our stay, was the breakfast in the morning: The all... More

We checked in on the 15th September 2012 for 4 nights. We were welcomed by Carlos on our arrival and shown around. After our first night the bed was a little hard and I suffer from a bad back. Carlos was extremely helpful and we were given another room with a much softer mattress. Breakfast was good everyday. We could... More

We had a very enjoyable 2 night stay. We had room 3 which was definately on the small side but we were warned about it. However it had a lovely outlook on the river which was a bonus. There was a shower and I usually prefer to have a bath but it was not a big deal. It was spotlessly... More

Perfect location right next to the Waterfalls walk and village centre. The service was excellent and the breakfast was lovely. Our rooms were very clean and contained everything that we needed. We had a lovely weekend away and our stay here made it even better. Highly recommended. Thank you. Ben, Anna, Rob and Daphne

The reviews were absolutely correct. A delightful B & B, in a lovely setting by the river and all you could wish for, in a well presented guest house. The Craven Heifer pub nearby, was also handy for evening meals. Would definitely recommend this friendly establishment.

Ideal location right next to the Waterfalls walk and local pubs. Warm welcome on arrival, very pleasant owners and very knowledgable- they knew about all the local walks, bike routes and tourist attractions. Were very happy to lend OS maps to guests. Rooms were nice size and had lovely hot showers, just what was needed after a hard days walking!... More

Very warm friendly welcome, very clean and comfortable with a good choice at breakfast and excellent scrambled eggs. Beautifully situated in an interesting and historic village ideally placed to visit Yorkshire Dales & Southern Lakes. Good pubs and the La Tavernetta Italian restaurant make eating out after a day in the hills a pleasure. Would definitely stay again when in... More
