This is about the so-called restaurant: Ordered tomato soup - came from industtrial size can made with water + shop sliced white bread; it tasted funny and full of sugar. Then, burger which was mainly salt.

We called in on Friday to relax and enjoy a meal. We had a steak meal. It was cooked exactly as requested (medium rare). What a nice change from so many other places. Staff and chef friendly and obliging. Will definitely be back.

I stayed here on business for one night recently. The room was charged at £50 per night for a "continental breakfast" in the morning. The full English is an extra £5 or so. This is not a hotel it is an INN at the back of the pub so it would be foolish to compare it with the usual hotel... More

I really do not know where to start so I'll start with the postitve. Beautiful location. Room was separate from pub which was nice. Unfortunately the bedding was marked.
