Baird House B&B is a great half-way stop between Ontario and the eastern provinces. We liked it so much that on our return from Newfoundland we stopped for a second stay. Rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. They provide a toilet and sink in the room but the shower is shared. Heartyl breakfast is included. If requested, they will provide a evening snack which is really a meal on it's own. Homemade soup, sandwich with homemade bread, dessert and drink for only $7 per person. If you are lucky you will see the resident moose in the evening or morning by the duck pond in front. The rooms are $51.75 but this includes tax and they take Visa. Phone number is 506-273-2643.
