This is a great little place, but the location can be a bit off putting at first. The new owners are very helpful, the rooms are clean and have a fridge and AC (but we didnt use it). The windows close but if you leave them open (mosquito netting only) and use the ceiling fan, you'll hear the forest frogs... more

I had stayed at this place for 1 night with a college friend (we had stayed near the biobay the previous night and were planning to stay near the condado area the last night for our extended weekend trip). This name is exactly as described. This is a cute little place by the rainforest, and the area is very low... more

We recently stayed at the Ceiba Country Inn and it was awesome! It's basically on the edge of the rain forest with no visible neighbors. The new owner was more than helpful and friendly; briefly giving us a rundown of the fruit trees on the property and a warning about fire ants, before letting us run around in the forest... more

Negatives: Hard to find, far from grocery stores, tourist areas, restaurants, etc. Positives: Far from tourist areas, quiet, peaceful, clean We had trouble finding it and when we called for directions the owner did seem a bit rude but when we finally arrived it turned out that he is just a hard-spoken person, he pretty much treats you the same... more

So the first impression may not be the greatest.... you're greeted by barking resident dogs... mainly Rupert, Rosie, and Auggie. Blackie will occasionally run down but she has a bad leg, so sometimes she stays up on the balcony. They're all really friendly and they don't bite at all. They lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeee attention. (i've heard about the cat, Pepper, but he... more

We have nothing but warm feelings for the very affordable Ceiba Country Inn. This was a return visit. Our first time a few years ago was a wonderful surprise and was simply perfect for our budget. We wanted to be away from San Juan. We wanted to be near the east coast, El Yunque, Luquillo, Las Cabezas de San Juan... more

The inn is located on the side of a hill and surrounded by forest, this was the main reason we chose to stay there. The owner who checked us in was rude from the very moment we walked in the door. His wife was friendlier but I think when your on vacation having a nice friendly place to stay is... more

A great place to stay in you like it quiet. There are no TV's in the room, and the one in the bar goes off at 9 PM, so the only sounds you hear are the peaceful sounds of the rain forest at night. We were able to get a good nights sleep so we could get an early start... more

I have been staying at Ceiba Country Inn for years now. Probably over 20 times! Sue and Dick have always been the BEST hosts ever. Real, genuine and very friendly people! They always try their best to help, to give you tips and recommendations for the area. I love the location. To me that is the ideal place in the... more

Simply put the innkeepers of this Inn are not pleasant or friendly people. They made us feel like we were bothering them whenever we had a question. The view is nice, the rooms are very basic with rattling window units. The breakfast served is very basic, breads, some fruit and very weak coffee. There are no restaurants very close. There's... more
