Luquillo Sunrise is a great place to stay. It's across from the ocean, and a short drive to El Yunque and the Bioluminescent bay. Breakfast was quite good. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit deserted at night, but we definitely recommend it. more

We had a great time staying at the Luquillo Sunrise Beach Inn. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. They set up each of our excursions (snorkeling, Vieques bio-bay) and gave us directions to El Yunque and helpful hints about where to dine. Rooms were a little spartan but very clean.
