Got a warm welcome and was shown around the place before I decided to stay in a 6 bed dorm. Room was simple with bunk beds, sheets were clean and I got a locker for my valueables.
The place was right next to the beach, about 10 min walk from the town centre and primary surf spot. There was a volleyball-net and you could rent a surfboard or bodyboard from the hostel. There was a nice roofed bar with a tv and pool table where you could order decent food until 5pm. The free breakfast consisted of rolls, butter, jam, tea and coffee, but you could order a more interesting breakfast from the kitchen if you wanted something else, like eggs or pancakes. You could sign up for the lunch and dinner of the day.They were putting finishing touches to a pool during my stay.
The people working there were mostly stranded backpackers who wanted more time in Mancora, and they arranged and participated in social theme-nights and games. The people staying there were easy to connect...
