Lovely little place, beech pool was different & so nice we didn’t want to leave. Great amenities, clean & well kept. Pitches are nice & private with soft flat ground. Fresh breads every morning. Restaurant, bar, coffees & ice creams on site. Short drive to the main town Saumur, lots of restaurants & nice to walk around.

We tried this lovely little site after seeing pictures from acquaintances who had used it. It is nicely laid out with a fantastic pool (small , but absolutely perfect for families with young children). Being a small site it does have reasonable facilities with a bar/takeaway. The sanitary blocks are a little dated and you do need transport to get you out to do or see anything else. They did out on a disco the first night we stopped which considering the size of site and numbers of people was the loudest eurodisco ever going on really quite late! We might use again but only as an overnight stop.

Great place - modern mobile homes, quiet, the lagoon is amazing, the kids could play in it for hours, there were activities but we didn't get involved as it was mainly for the French, the area's amazing as there are plenty of cycling routes around, and you're close to everything in the Loire. We'll go back, and it seems most people do every year.

Only wanting to use this site for a short stopover we ended up staying 10 nights. What a find, probably one of the best campsites we have stayed at. The pool is magnificent you could be in the Carribean. The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful, they felt like family. The site is well located to visit Saumur and the numerous chateaux close by. We will make a special detour to visit whenever we can. Superb. Crossants best in France.

What a beautiful little site set in a middle of farm country in an environment which oozes peace and calm. Apart for the best bathroom facilities we have ever experienced in a camp ground, the owners were delightful and were tripping over themselves to cater for our every need. Sadly we could only spend two days one of which we took the opportunity to visit the neighbouring town of Saumur and we were not disappointed. Although the Spanish Riding School and their magnificent horses were away on their holidays, the town was buzzing with activity not only in the Chateaux grounds but in the shopping precincts, restaurants and bars. My only advice is to leave the credit card behind!
