Not a bad place if you've arrived on the island and need a night's sleep before looking for somewhere good to stay. Not much else going for it though.

We get two Fan rooms, one for 300 baht. It was quite clean. We wanted to stay on the beach but after we cheeked the prices we decide to stay longer in ban samet hill. It is free computer with internet for use. It is a small beach near by hostel. crowded beaches is 10 minutes by walk.

We arrived at 6 pm in Koh Samet, We cheeked in to Ban samet hill. Room was very big, almost biggest room I have had until now in Thailand. Very clean room. Our room here cost a bit more than a bungalow we rented for a second night down closer to the beach. We ended up at samet hill because it's one of the only on hostelbookers.com, it's a totally satisfactory place but there are others cheaper and with better location
