My husband and I recently spent seven days at the Hotel Wiesenhof. The hotel was very comfortable and the food was excellent and plentiful. The service was great; the staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Stayed here for one week with partner plus 1 year old. Hotel was fantastic, large room with plenty of space even with travel cot. Staff were very friendly and service was exceptional. We were half board though at this hotel it's effectively full board because at lunch time there is salad and soup available at no cost and from 3-5pm... more

The recent reviews have said it all, so what can I add? - this is a wonderful and welcoming hotel with an amazing interpretation of "half-board" - there is always some tempting food available. We stayed here for a week in August 2008, and came back in 2009 because we couldn't imagine anywhere nicer. The rooms are excellent, the food is delicious and dangerously plentiful, with salads for lunch and cake at teatime, even though you think you've only paid for half board.
