This guest house has recently been refurbished and extended to a good standard with plenty of room, the owners are English and they are very friendly and look after you very well, We had a good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice, the evening meals were prepared to a very high standard with larry at the helme, my wife suffers from celiacs but this appeared to be no trouble with the different diet. The area is good for walking, cycling and very good views of the lake and mountains. The guest house is about a 1 hour drive from Salzburg and just across the lake from Halstat. During our stay we were on a bike and hike week with pack lunches and good bikes, the cycling is good for all standards with Larry and Lisa pointing you in the right direction. more
