Went to the parks years ago and then it was ok, but now? my god never again. They don't know the meaning of the word service anymore. Management must be terrible. Bungalow was poor, not cleaned at all, lock of outside door didn't work, works in the swimming pool so no real fun to swim, it wasn't mentioned on the... more

The place is not really worth a visit. Unhospitable team, nothis apart from a swimming pool to do, closed restaurants etc. The cottages are poorly maintained. more

We stayed at Sunparks recently as recommended to us and booked a deal online as couldn't find any cheap breaks abroad! The crossing from Dover was straightforward and only an hour drive to the resort. Check in was very straighforward and we had booked an 'exclusive' 3 bed villa (included a sauna in the bedroom!). The accommodation was really clean... more

Center parcs have bought this chain out. They have a long way to go to make them remotley equivalent to center parcs! Thye have built new lodges a lakeside exclusive 6 persons we stayed in. Its no use paying the extra for these at they are simply not worth it. Smashed doors, sockets faling of the wall, paint allover the... more

Great place to stay with kids! The houses are very reasonably-priced, clean and the park has nearly everything you'd need. Close to the beach and the adorable Belgian seaside towns. Better by car but public transport is also a viable option. more

We've stayed here a few times and have just booked to stay in april 08. Can't fault it really for the price. Friendly service, lots of space even in summer. Handy for beaches and for De Haan, my favourite of the coastal towns. Only 15 minutes' drive from Bruges. If you're trying to entertain a young family on a budget,... more

Our family of five (three kids ages 12, 10 and 9) stayed at SunParks DeHaan for one week in mid-October. The SunParks resort is a good value option for any family wishing to explore western Belgium. With current dollar/euro exchange rates and the difficulty in finding traditional hotels which can accomodate a family of five it worked out very well... more

Not been to a Sunpark for 15 years, and last time at a sister resort. Sunparks are cheaper than Centreparcs and unfortunately it does show a bit. Accomadation was clean and comfortable and a definite advantage having UK TV available. On-site restaurants not bad but nothing to write home about, pool fine but in need of a bit of paint... more

Having never stayed in a family park before we had no pre conceptions of what to expect. The first impressions at the check in were very good and overall they proved true for the rest of the week. The accomodation is fairly basic, we were in a two bedroomed house. This was clean and the sheets etc were waiting for... more
