Stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. The price was reasonable, and we found it quite charming - in the French kind of way...
Quite shabby, but with a great location. The staff was the friendliest we have ever met in France (and we have traveled a bit!)...
HAd a nice shabby charm, but we are most certain that the picky traveler could find it nasty. If you love the french shabby way, look no further. On the internet site they mention their Tempur mattresses....well, that is probably in their one & only suite, the mattress in our room was quite lumpy and nasty, but we were charmed in beforehand.
The hotel has a fishrestaurant and a pizzeria; both have very friendly staff and excellent food.
For lovers of all French, this is a good value hotel (if you are able to overlook some superficial problems (no AC f.ex.)
We stayed here in the end of June and this was obviously not high season. Streetnoise will probably be of some concern in July/August with the lacking AC... more

Not a good experience. We were asked to arrive after 4pm to ensure our room- double with seaview, was ready but despite booking direct with the hotel, and giving a credit card guarantee, got there to find they had completely lost our reservation.
Were given the only room still available. This didn't have a sea view and overlooked the back of the hotel. Lot of noise and smells from the kitchen extractor unit below us. The room was clean but very tired with chipped paintwork and scuffed furniture .The spacious bathroom was desperately in need of updating with cracked tiles and fittings. The bed was old hard and uncomfortable, but understand that some rooms have Tempur mattresses.
Non-existent sound insulation between floors meant we were disturbed by loud footsteps and plumbing noises from above.

Tried the hotel restaurant which gives a 10% discount to guests, but several of the menu choices were not available and our meal was average at best.
