We were three couples enjoying the cottage. Well-appointed, spacious bedrooms and roomy sitting/dining room in idyllic pastural setting. Close to Normandy beaches but away from crowds. Odeille was a very gracious and fun hostess; she fixed huge and scrumptious breakfasts & wrapped leftovers for picnics. This was both our nicest and least expensive lodging on our trip! More

We stayed at La Ferme this past fall and loved it. The setting on the farm was peaceful and the little town was cute. The best part, however, was Odile's tremendous hospitality and her AMAZING breakfasts! We felt like we were sitting down to a tablescape straight out of a Williams-Sonoma catalogue, and loved the delicious omelets and French pastries.... More

Really, I want to give this place a 3.5 rating. We read all the reviews here and had high expectations. In some aspects we were disappointed, as it appears the increase in traffic brought on by the inclusion of this B&B in Rick Steve’s France book has started to take its toll. When coupled with a higher than quoted room... More

We were looking for a charming B&B in the countryside from which to explore the sights in Normandy and a bit into Brittany. The location here was perfectly situated between the beaches of Normandy, Mont St Michel, Etretat and even eastern Brittany. Odile was a charming and generous hostess always willing to help plan our day. Breakfasts were delicious and... More

My parents, wife and I stayed with Odile for two nights during our visit to Normandy. This is a wonderful B&B and I would rate it as one of the best we have encountered. The rooms are perfectly clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was almost overwhelming with both the abundance and quality of food that is served. I recommend starting... More

My wife and I spent 2 days at this most delightful home. Odile was most helpful in pointing out places of interest in the Village to have dinner, top notch was le Vrai Normand. The accomodations were excellent and breakfasts were more than plentiful. The entire ambiance of the farm, being away from the main stream made our trip much... More

This is actually a B&B on a working farm. The original building goes back to the 19th century, but the rooms have been updated to modern standards and are spacious and comfortable. I believe I can say without fear of contradiction that you are unlikely to have a better breakfast cooked just for you by our charming french hostess, I... More

What a great place to stay just outside of Bayeux! This country farm is charming with nice rooms and a never ending breakfast. The drive to the Normandy sites is within short distance and very scenic. Madame is so friendly and helpful even with her little bit of English and our very little bit of French, we were fine. More

Skip the tourist hotels when visiting Bayeux, DDay beaches and Caen and stay at the farm instead. What a wonderful respite - beautiful farm, relaxing atmosphere and fantastic service. We spent 2 nights here and loved it. Odile does not really speak English, but can definitely communicate with non-French speakers (like us). She puts out an amazing breakfast with tons... More

Madame Odile Delalande is the perfect French hostess. It's all very clean, well decorated and picturesque. It's every bit a French farm house that's been converted to a very fine B&B. The rooms are private with no problem of noise from the other guests. The food is good. The other guests are interesting people and its fun to trade travel... More
