The Hotel D'Evreux was an unplanned find. We stayed here overnight while in the area to visit Monet's home and gardens at Giverny. The room was comfortable. The owners were pleasant and helpful. Dinner is the hotel's restaurant was superb...one of the best meals we had in Europe. The breakfast, served in a charming morning room, was lovely. more

We were travelling for two weeks in france in different areas and 1st impression was that this hotel looked lovely but not the area. Really handy for visiting monet's garden and surrounding area but if you want an evening out it is not inviting, although I cannot fault the hotel itself. We stayed at this hotel while visiting Monet's Garden. It's incredibly well priced, the rooms are basic but the bar is welcoming & the restaurant serves excellent authenic French food. I highly recommend this hotel for atmosphere and price. more
