“Great place for an overnight stay if you're going down the A3”

Travelling down through Bavaria on the A3 towards Nurnberg, and looking for a motel. We turned off at a hotel sign, and where there is a high MacDonald's tower (alos BurgerKing and many drunken Germans). We drove on past the motorway facilities, accidentally ending up in Geiselwind which is very close, and got the last room on a Saturday night... more

Driving between England and the Romanian border is about 1300 miles and two days hard drive. This hotel is very conveniently situated in the attractive village of Geiselwind just off the A3 between Wurzburg and Nurnberg and makes an ideal overnight stop.
