This hotel was a gem. It is located in one of the charming houses in central Hann. Münden. Charming here means that the house is very old and the floors are very far from level.

The room we got was slightly bare of furnishing but it did contain five beds, which was what we needed and a table with chairs.

The owner, Antje Freund, did take very good care of us and it is that personal touch which helps to set this hotel apart.

The included breakfast was excellent. The breakfast room is on the small side but Antje made sure the the breakfast guests were well spaced in time so that never was an issue.

The town itself was very charming and is well worth a visit.

The only drawback of this hotel is that the WLAN did not work in our room. But it did work for me in the breakfast room so I could get may daily does of emails. more
