My wife and I were planning on staying here for the weekend as we were visiting friends in Herford. Unfortunately we managed to get thrown out of the hotel before setting foot in it. This is a record for me as have never been banned from anywhere in the past ( and I have been on some very festive rugby tours and boys holidays), never mind before setting foot in the actual building!

The issue seemed to be car parking, which is tight at the hotel. We drove through the carpark and found no space, and non on the street behind the hotel. So we turned round and came back in. Someone pulled out of a space that was closest to the hotel, so we pulled in once they pulled out.

Just as we stopped and man in a van (it always is, isnt it?) was waving his hands at us in an agressive manner, and it transpires he thought he couldn't get through the gap (he could).
