We visited the town in late December, so most hotels were closed. This one looked like it was, but we tried the doorbell and a minute later we were very warmly greeted by a smiling, happy lady who tried her best in broken English to explain the arrangements and show us the rooms. I say guesthouse as there is no reception as such, but the owners also have the cafe and bakery adjacent to the Hotel where the bill is paid and the excellent breakfast served. No problem with getting in or out of the hotel though, your room key also unlocks the front door.
The rooms were modern, spacious and very clean. There was crisp, fresh bedding and quilted bedcovers. Bathrooms were equally large and the hotel had a lovely family feel to it.
The evening room for guests has a well stocked fridge with wine, beer and soft drinks on offer. This isn't padlocked, you simply choose what drink you would like to consume in either...
