I have organised a party that visits the Nurburgring for the last four years. We have used this hotel for the last three. The proprietors speak very good English and are very helpful. Frau Schneider seems to be in charge ! Half of the rooms were refurbished last year and are basic but very clean and modern. The front overlooks the River Mosel with only the "coast " road between the garden wall and the water. It is 10 minutes into Cochem by road, which is totally flat - ideal for cycling.
Breakfast is continental but there is plenty of it. Beer and soft drinks can be bought from the fridge on a trust basis - the cost is added to your final bill on checkout. Parking is ample and off road.
Most importantly, it is very reasonable.
We have already booked a party of 11 in for 2009 - repeating last years trip. Highly recommended more
