The hotel was fairly modern and clean with a spectacular position above the River Rhine. We appeared to be the only guests that night yet they still put us in a room overlooking the car park at the rear rather than the river at the front.
The room was clean and well equipped, but a little too well equipped. Neither my son nor I needed aids for the disbaled yet the room was full of them. We rather felt as if we were in a clinic or home for the elderly.
We arrived on Sunday evening after a long drive through Germany yet the hotel was not serving food. We had to make a long walk through the dark and across a busy road to a local restaurant. If they had warned us before we arrived then we could have eaten before hand.
