We booked one night in Hotel Am Markt in October 2008. Although the hotel can be hard to find (follow the bus from Klein Bittersdorf near Saarbrucken and look for the restaurant name Don Giovanni) it is great value for money. We booked a double room through booking.com and paid 69 euro for 1 double bedroom including breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean and immaculate, the bed was fantastic, as were the pillows. The bathroom was spacious and clean, and since Sitterswald is a very small town, there was no noise from outside (we slept with the window open).
Breakfast was sufficient (great cake!) and plenty and the staff were really friendly. A great plus for us that we were able to enjoy dinner, eventhough we didn't arrive until 22.30 hrs!
Do not expect a 5 star experience, but this hotel gives you great value for money! more
