this is a wonderful old hotel set in the old quarter of the town. The rooms are amazing - dating back to the 1500's but now with all comforts and great bathrooms. There are beautiful sitting rooms and two great terraces. I can not say enough good things about here! more

This is, if I remember right, an old monastery embedded into the ancient heart of this C14th hilltown. The building is locked into the maze of alleys and roads near the top of the hill (and the Duomo) and its lower floor consists of caves hewn from the hillside.
