Have just returned from these apartments and have to say I was really happy. First impression wasn't great however that soon improved!! Club Alvorferias is one of the best apartments I have ever stayed in when travelling abroad. Clean, Relaxing and full of helpful people. We have just returned from a trip to Alvor, despite worrying reviews we found the apartments very clean and spaceous. The staff were very helpful in particular our rep (Thomsons/First Choice). The view from our apartment was an amazing blossoming garden. Although the swimming pool was cold(like most foreign countries) it felt amazingly pleasant after a dip in the Atlantic.... more

It's only a 10 min walk to Alvor town which is fab, we also walked to the beach which is about 15min walk. We found the staff very friendly and helpful the apartments were very clean and a good size we also had two balconys. There are also two pools the pool over the bridge is less busy very nice... more

Hi there, Felt I had to write as I am not sure why people are saying it takes 2.5 hours to get here from the airport - it is 1 hour MAX in a taxi and well worth the visit. Accommodation - basic but nice with air-con unit in living area Pool - Excellent and poolside bar lovely 10 minutes... more
