Its a really nice hotel - the rooms are spacious. The decor a lil old style spanish. The surroundings, garden and pool are really great. Located on a great beach as well. Try out food at nearby Mazagon - cheap and really great.

At first sight although perfectly positioned by the Reserve and the sea the exterior looks as though it needs some attention . The gardens however are well maintained and we were given a room directly overlooking swimming pool and the sea. This Parador has a great location overlooking the sea, and all rooms have a good view. The beach is accessed by nearly 200 wooden steps, and you can walk for miles. Hadn't made a reservation but was quickly booked in and given info re restaurant times etc. dinner ok, typically Spanish and a little slow. This hotel is in a beautiful setting, overlooking the sea...next to the national park...and off season completely peaceful. Nice pool area and gardens, friendly enough staff but with minimal knowledge of english..so if you are not a spanish speaker you can find it more challenging and amusing (us). Box like concrete construction reminded me of boarding school. Such a wonderful location, but the parador itself, while adequately comfortable, was a disappointment. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel - it is quite, nice place with great garden and nice pool. Beach access is little complicated but the beach was empty. Little overprized but good services. It is better to have a car to go around.
