Myself and my boyfriend have just returned from 10 nights at the La Cala and after reading the last review left i have to disagree. The rooms were spotless, the food of a high standard and all the staff (particularly the waitresses) very friendly and hard working. There was mix of older and younger couples and very few children (hurray!).... more

we loved this hotel so much last year we decided (for the first time ever) that we would go back to the same hotel and although it was stil las delightful as last year, it lacked a certain buzz. stayed for two wks late september i would agree with previous remarks made about this hotel.the weather was glorious when we were there so went swimming in the sea most days.i did not see anybody using the hotel pool the sun doesnt get to that area of the hotel.the staff are very good and food had plenty of choices.could do... more

My Husband and I stayed at the La Cala from the 26th September until the 10th October 2008. We can't fault the food except we did notice it was falling off towards the end of our holiday due possibly to the hotel closure the folowing week. Stayed at the 3 star (4 star next year) La Cala for a week in late September/October 2008. It was spotlessly clean, large comfortable rooms which were cleaned daily.
