We arrived at La Palma airport on the Thomsonfly flight at around 20:00. Weather was very overcast, but at least it was dry!! Transfer to the Las Olas was a mear 10 minutes, the pool almost at the end of the runway..The hotel reception was very modern and bright. Lovely seating areas and modern bar area downstairs. The receptionist very pleasant and a fantastic English speaker. We had a second floor apartment with huge balcony and stunning see views. Apartment was large with breakfast bar area, 2 electric cooking rings and microwave. No kettle.
Once we had dropped off our cases we went down to the dining room, where evening meals were available until 22:00. First impressions of the food were poor, but we were prepared for this as had read other reviews before we travelled.
