We come down from london to visit alot. We always stay at the Fayreness. We have found the food bland and boring on occasions, under previous owners and managers, but on this occasion it was nice. We understand new managers and chef are in place, and things are much better. Nice to see the same chamber maids, and as always... More

The rooms are spotless, staff couldn't do more for you. They pointed out local landmarks, and if they didn't know they would research for us. We can sing more highly of them. There great views, and a 5 star approach to everything. The food was wonderfully repaired and ample. We enjoyed it so much will be back in October for... More

Nice location with sea veiws...plenty of parking. The room that we had was very well fitted out with everything that you'd need for a short stay here. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful to our needs etc. I had read previous reveiws on the resturant and food standards but I always take these 'with a pinch of... More

Dog-friendly sea-side hotel on a cliff above a beach. All staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spotless, as was the bathroom, with a powerful shower. Restaurant is a lovely room with sea view, but eating in the bar, (from the same menu), was a bit pubby. Great hand-pumped beer though. We found that the food from the daily specials... More

Friendly 50s-ish feeling, no-fuss hostelry....a little like a friendly English 'Twin Peaks-ian' experience (for those that ever watched it). Very clean rooms. Only ate breakfast which was fine. Didn't eat in restaurant or use the bar so can't comment on those.

Stayed on two occasions in May 2012, for two nights on each visit, while working on a job in Broadstairs. All the staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good and served promptly. Evening meal, which I had in the Bar rather than the Dining Room was very good and good value. On the second visit there was a... More

Very helpful and friendly staff. Room (sea view) was good sized, as was bathroom. High standard of cleanliness. Breakfast very good and general menu also OK. Easy access to clifftop and beaches with potential to walk into Broadstairs or Cliftonville.. Only slight issue was in high winds the glazing in the room sruggled to keep the draughts out and the... We stayed for three nights last week in a sea view double aspect room. Unfortunately it was bitterly cold which so our intentions of spending our days wandering were a bit curtailed, although we did manage to walk to Broadstairs and a couple of other local towns. the hotel, however was lovely and warm, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We... More
