Friendly 50s-ish feeling, no-fuss hostelry....a little like a friendly English 'Twin Peaks-ian' experience (for those that ever watched it). Very clean rooms. Only ate breakfast which was fine. Didn't eat in restaurant or use the bar so can't comment on those.
