Fran is an excellent hostess, her breakfasts superb, and nothing was too much trouble. We had a 19 month old in our party, Fran provided us with travel cot, high chair, and offered the run of the garden. If we are in the area, we wouldnt stay anywhere else, and would have no hesitation in suggesting you do the same. more
I booked Greenways for a party of 6 (3 couples) following our participation in the 'Cairngorm Charmer', it was perfect. The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. I'm just back from a weekend in Newtonmore with my girlfriend, and we really enjoyed staying at Greenways. Fran is a perfect host (very attentive but not intrusively so) and cooked a great breakfast! Greenways is in the most wonderful setting overlooking Newtonmore golf course and the highlands beyond. Fran McCann's beautiful home is tastefully decorated with very comfortable bedrooms. Breakfast was really good and served in her lovely dining room. All in all a great place to stay in Newtonmore and very good value more
